A family in Wales is seeking a kind and patient Personal Assistant to support their energetic sixteen-year-old son with autism and ADHD. Job description

Hours: An average of 3.5 hours weekly though we are happy to be flexible to allow support for a longer period less regularly (alternate weeks or school holidays)
Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support our sixteen-year-old son who lives with us and his brothers
Our friendly and affectionate son has a diagnosis of autism and ADHD and will benefit from PA support to access activities both on his own and whilst with his family.
This could be visiting the leisure centre, cinema, shopping or having a walk etc. We feel this will increase his confidence greatly and we would be delighted if the personal assistant supported our son to explore opportunities and new experiences
We are looking for a kind, patient and understanding person who will be empathic and we know that our son will enjoy spending time with people who are as energetic and fun loving as he is. We look forward to building a rapport with our PA and will be happy for them to become involved with the planning of activities with our son.
