Position Title: Personal Assistant
Location: Westbury, Wiltshire
Hourly Rate: £14.50
Hours Per Week: Various hours available-
Evening shifts Week 1- Tue, Wed, Fri 4pm- 10pm / Week 2 - Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 4pm-10pm.
Alternate Saturday day shift s- 8am- 2pm and 8am-4pm.
Additional hours available during school holidays.

About The Role
I am a happy, fun, young 19-year-old lady with CHARGE syndrome and complex health needs which affects my daily living. My team supports me within my family home, providing me with all aspects of my daily life as well as providing me with waking nights to enable my family to rest. I am registered deafblind and nonverbal, which can make communication difficult. I am looking for individuals with a caring, patient nature to join my team and get to know me, understanding my complex needs and ways of communicating as well as respecting my family home and supporting me to get out into the community in my wheelchair.
About You
You will need to be bubbly, upbeat, friendly, fun and ready to be physically active supporting me with all of my activities and social outings whilst flexible and calm in challenging situations which you may need to support me with.
I require 2:1, as well as 1:1 care for personal care tasks, Moving & handling activities, accessing the community, social outings, supporting me with my complex respiratory needs, PEG feeding, medication management, all of which you will learn about.
You will be supported by the team and will get to know my unique set of requirements, covering all personal and medical care supporting my overnight / daytime needs & household tasks, as well as simply getting to know me at my own pace and supporting me to remain happy and safe.
You will be required to get to know myself and the team- through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke training programme. You will receive all mandatory training and specialised training annually.
