Independent Lives seeks a Personal Assistant in Shoreham-by-Sea for a part-time, on-site role supporting a disabled woman. Duties include housekeeping, shopping, companionship and pet care, with occasional cat care. Drivers licence is helpful but not essential.
The role is permanent with flexible hours from December, starting with around 1 hour on Mon/Tue/Fri and 3 hours on Wed at 12–1pm, at £14 per hour. DBS check may be required.

I am a disabled woman and a pensioner. I have a lively and open minded outlook, not matched by my physical abilities and I'm interested in politics and disability activism in particular.
From December, I will need a PA for 1 hour a day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, but 3 hours on Wednesday to help me either swim or have a shower at home. This would need to be from 12 - 1 p.m., but I can be flexible about time on the other days.
