Position Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Mansfield, Nottingham

Hourly Rate: £12.21

Hours Per Week:

1. Mixed shifts available: Monday to Friday 9am-2pm & 5pm-9:30pm
2. Saturday and Sunday 9am-2pm, 5pm-10pm & sleep-in nights 10pm-7am

About The Role

I am a female adult living in Mansfield, diagnosed with MS in 2014, requiring support with daily tasks, personal care, and transfers. I spend most of my day in a recliner or wheelchair, enjoying rest and leisure activities such as listening to music, quizzes, brain teasers, and watching YouTube. I like to go out shopping and visit coffee shops, and a driving license is essential for mobility in my car.

I am looking to recruit a team of Personal Assistants to support with daily living, household chores (cooking, washing, cleaning, ironing), emotional well-being, community access, and hobbies.

About You

The ideal candidate will be local, flexible, patient, calm, caring, enthusiastic, professional, and respectful of my independence and home. Female candidates with experience supporting clients with mobility needs and understanding of MS are preferred; full training will be provided. Support times may vary, and flexibility is required to cover shifts, including annual leave and sickness.

The hourly rate is £12.21, with paid training. A comprehensive training package will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills.
