Position Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Mansfield, Nottingham

Hourly Rate: £13.79

Hours Per Week: 5 hours +

About The Role

Bank position available - must be flexible with days/ hours.

I am a young female adult living with my parents in our family home, in Mansfield. I have an acquired brain injury which causes me to have complex epilepsy and non-epileptic seizures. My brain injury has impacted my cognitive ability. I have always been cared for by my parents and education but as I become an adult, I now need a team of personal assistants to support me to have more independence.

I like to have a purpose each day and need my personal assistants to be patient and understanding of my needs, I enjoy arts and crafts and watching films and sports and would like to have somebody who can support me in my day to day living including accessing the community.

About You

The ideal candidate will live locally to me, be flexible, patient, have a calm presence and a genuine caring nature. You will need to be enthusiastic and inspiring to bring a sense of energy into my life. You must also be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity, promoting my independence and respecting my family and my home.

Candidates must be female due to the nature of the role and preferably have care experience.

Some flexibility required to support weekday college pick ups.

The hourly rate of pay is £13.79 per hour and all training is paid for including the hours to complete the necessary training. An in-depth training package will be delivered to my team to support you to understand how to care for me and to meet my needs.
