Job description

ASA Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the appointment of an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high level support to a Strategic Director within a prominent public sector organisation commencing mid-August for a period of 6 months

This is a key role requiring regular interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders and it offers a unique opportunity to contribute at the heart of leadership operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively manage the Directors inbox prioritising and actioning correspondence appropriately
· Liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
· Oversee the Directors calendar and ensure all briefing materials are accurate and prepared in advance
· Provide secretariat support for internal meetings and external stakeholder engagements
· Coordinate logistics for meetings, events and off site visits including travel arrangements
· Maintain an organised and up to date electronic filing system
· Build strong professional relationships across the organisation and with partner bodies
· Support the wider leadership team with administrative and clerical tasks as required

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate,
· Proven experience as a Personal Assistant preferably supporting senior leaders or executives
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident, professional manner
· A proactive approach and able to use initiative and work independently
· High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other MS Office applications
· Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic office environment

This role can be based in either Glasgow or Livingston on a 09:00-17:00 office basis.
