We are seeking a caring, reliable, and resilient Personal Assistant to support a young lady with complex needs in her home. The role is designed to provide both companionship and practical support, while also giving her mother a much-needed break from her full-time caring responsibilities.
The young lady has borderline personality disorder and epilepsy, which includes frequent seizures. She is a warm, kind, thoughtful, and very funny individual who enjoys creative activities such as crafting. However, she can experience significant emotional ups and downs and may at times communicate in a very direct or unfiltered way.
The role would suit someone who is patient, understanding, and not easily offended, with a good sense of humour and a calm, grounded approach.
The resident is a smoker who smokes inside the property. Applicants should be comfortable working in this environment.

Hours are as above and flexible to be agreed with employer. Further information can be provided at interview.
