About The Role

I am a young 19-year-old gentleman who lives at home with my family. I have Lowe Syndrome with Fanconi Syndrome, which includes complex needs such as Epilepsy. I am nonverbal, which can make communication difficult. I am looking for a team of Personal Assistants with a caring, patient nature to support me, understand my complex needs, and communicate effectively. I live between my Mum & Dad's homes, where I receive all my care needs, and you would work at both addresses.

You will be supported to get to know my unique requirements, covering personal and medical care such as PEG feeding, respiratory needs, medication, epilepsy care, mobility, and communication. You will also support me in a way that helps me remain happy and safe.

Training will be provided through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke programme. All mandatory and specialised training will be offered annually.

About You

You should be calm, friendly, fun, flexible, and unphased by health needs and situations. Support will include 2:1 evening support to ensure safety, assisting with bedtime routines, and responding effectively to seizures.

Benefits
  • 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time).
  • Company pension scheme after 3 months (subject to scheme rules).
  • Opportunity to join our Cash Back Health Plan after probation.
  • Free training and development.
