Job Description

This role involves assisting a 34-year-old man living independently in his own house. The goal is to support his daily activities, enabling him to maintain an independent and fulfilling lifestyle aligned with his preferences. You will be directly employed by his mother, as she sometimes struggles with paperwork and responsibilities.

Hours and Rate of Pay

5 hours per week at £12.40 per hour. Please specify preferred times. Flexibility on days from Monday to Friday is possible.

Work Duties

Responsibilities may include:

• Hygienic cleaning, changing bedding, and laundry
• Supporting household paperwork, correspondence, and housing bids
• Supporting household recycling and day planning
• Providing social support such as clothes shopping, visiting friends, dining out, or going to the bank
• Social interactions within the home
• Going to the gym and undertaking activities for the employer
• Ensuring the home is hygienic and safe

Other Requirements

• Working safely and reporting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with managing health risks
• Maintaining effective communication

Location

Within the employer’s home in the Bradley Stoke area of Bristol.
