Job summary

The High Intensity Counsellor post sits within Total Wellbeing Luton, an NHS Talking Therapies service run by Turning Point alongside Active Luton. You will manage your own caseload and deliver evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety and phobias. Roles require BACP accreditation and Counselling for Depression IAPT training.

Base at Active Luton venues with evenings and Saturdays required. Applicants should have substantial experience in mental health and be able to build strong

This High Intensity Person Centred Experiential Counsellor post sits within Total Wellbeing Luton, the integrated NHS Talking Therapies service that Turning Point runs alongside Active Luton. The role centres on managing your own caseload and delivering evidence-based treatment for people with common mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety and phobias. Work is based at Active Luton gyms and community centres across a wide area, with varied hours including evenings and Saturdays. Applicants need BACP accreditation and completed Counselling for Depression IAPT training.
