Partnership of Care is recruiting a Support Worker for Bryn Aderyn, Pontypool, to join a new staff team in a supported living setting for adults with autism, learning difficulties, and mental health needs.

Based at Bryn Aderyn, a 3-bedroom house, you will help residents with daily activities, medicines, personal care and community access, using a person-centred approach to promote independence and choice.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills essential.
• Experience with LD, autism or challenging behaviours preferred.
• QCF or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and supervision to residents.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration.
• Support residents to access their community and activities.
• Apply a person-centred approach to empower independence.
