We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Bexley in September 2025. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a school that values both academic excellence and the holistic development of its students. You will play a key role in preparing children for their final year of primary school and the challenges of transitioning to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging creative lessons to Year 6 students ensuring they meet their academic targets while maintaining a passion for learning.
  • Support students in their preparation for SATs ensuring that they are wellprepared for both the academic and emotional aspects of their transition to secondary school.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages student independence resilience and curiosity.
  • Use a range of assessment tools to track student progress and provide timely constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers keeping them informed of their childs progress and development.
