Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - North Dorset

Type: Small Animal

Location: North Dorset

Practice: They are proudly independent and dedicated to providing exceptional care with a personal touch. Run by the vets who work here, they prioritise close connections with the community and their beloved pets.

Services/Facilities: Located amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Blackmore Vale in North Dorset, the clinic serves pets and their owners across Dorset, Wiltshire, and Somerset. They have three beautiful branches. Despite being in a rural area, they’re easily accessible and nestled close to both the coast and picturesque countryside.

Role: Are you a dedicated and experienced small animal vet looking for a fulfilling role in an independent practice?

Hours:

  • Full-time - four days a week
  • Part-time opportunities, there are options available to suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality veterinary care with compassion and expertise
  • Collaborating with a supportive team to ensure the well-being of patients
  • Participating in the shared on-call service (1 in 12 rotas) alongside a neighboring practice, with dedicated OOH nurses to assist

Candidate: You will be an experienced veterinary surgeon with a passion for small animal care.

Salary: They are offering a competitive salary that is reflective of skills, experience and hours agreed - up to £80,000 p/a FTE
