Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Basingstoke

Type: Small Animal

Practice Type: They are an exciting, independent, growing veterinary group that’s been giving a fresh look to working in the veterinary sector for fifteen years now. They are not a corporate focused on profit to the detriment of its clients and staff. With ten practices, neither are they a small independent at risk from competition or takeover.

Facilities: It has all the facilities you would expect of a modern practice, including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and an Idexx in-house integrated laboratory. There are dedicated surgical facilities for our use and that of our visiting orthopaedic surgeons.

Role: They need dynamic vets with at least two years’ experience to come on board and join their team.

Hours: Full-time

• 4-day week and every other Saturday morning.
• Part-time hours are also available
• No on-call, no working Sundays, no working bank holidays

Duties: This initially shared rota will be the sole charge but alongside the owner and visiting orthopaedic plus soft tissue referral surgeons. There is also always plenty of support from their twenty surgeons and seventy staff across the group as well as the on-site nurses. They really do all act as a team, something they’re proud of.

Salary: Competitive salary between £45,000 to £80,000 p/a commensurate with experience and hours
