Job description

Services/Team : Their practice is RCVS accredited at the General Practice Level. They have separate cat and dog wards, 4 consulting rooms, a theatre, prep, a diagnostic room, and a fully stocked pharmacy. They are well equipped to help their clinicians diagnose and treat their patients with ultrasound, a video endoscope, a digital x-ray, a full IDEXX in-house laboratory, a K-Laser, a blood pressure machine, and a Multiparameter monitor.

Role : They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly hardworking team,

Team : Youll be joining a friendly and supportive team consisting of a Head Vet, Head Nurse, and a Customer Care Manager as well as a further 4 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, and 4 Receptionists.

• 4-day week Mon-Fri, 8.30 am to 7 pm, with one day having early finish day at 5 pm to maintain work-life balance.
• The weekend rota is 1:3 Saturdays 09:00-16:00 and no Sundays.
• There is also no OOH or Sole Charge.

Skills/Exp: The ideal candidate will want to thrive as a general practitioner. Theyre flexible with the level of your experience, so if you have many years of experience or you require more support they can be the practice for you. They have a track record of vets progressing their clinical skills in a very supportive environment with an experienced team and encouraging further education and certificates. Theyre a close-knit team and have regular meals, day trips, nights out, and spa days together.

Support : The candidate could well have a desire to explore the options available in partnership/part ownership. This creates a really exciting opportunity for the right person who wants to reap the rewards of having a stake in the business.

Salary Ranges: They are offering a salary of up to £65,000 p/a depending on skills and experience.

The Package :

• Annual leave of 28 days including bank holidays increasing after 2 years service
• Unlimited CPD allowance, even up to Certificate level, and 5 extra days CPD leave
