Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Guildford

Type: Small Animal

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Practice Type: They are an RCVS-accredited, two-site primary care practice based in Guildford and Haslemere. They provide the highest standard of veterinary care for small animals in a friendly and professional environment. Their practices are continuously updated to ensure pets receive the best care through their facilities and caring team.

Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Candidate: The ideal candidate will be confident in general surgery and medicine, with support from the practice and wider team if needed. The most important qualities are friendliness, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

Hours: 4-day week (40 hours), 1 in 4 Saturdays, no OOH

Support:

• They invest in their staff, encouraging and funding career progression and CPD, including certificates.
• If interested, they are keen to develop new areas or disciplines.
• They currently handle a small exotic caseload with potential for growth.

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience
