• The small animal department is a general first opinion practice that works on surgical and internal medicine cases to a high level.
• They have a second small animal branch surgery which is a 25-minute drive from the main centre.
• They are training as a VetGDP Adviser practice and are well equipped with digital radiography, colour doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, dentistry facilities, and an in-house laboratory.

Team : Their very experienced small animal team includes 2 full-time veterinary surgeons, 1 part-time veterinary surgeon, and 1 mixed small animal and equine veterinary surgeon. they work with a very experienced and friendly support staff team, which includes 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, 1 animal care assistant, 5 receptionists, 2 office assistants, and a Practice Manager.

Role : Our clients' team is expanding and is looking for a full or part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.

• The role is full or part-time - up to 40 hours over 4 or 5 days.
• There is a rota for 1:4 Sundays for small animal consults, no OOH.

Salary : The salary will be up to £70,000 p/a depending on experience.
