Permanent Vacancy: Learning Support Assistant (SEN) – Secondary School (Part-Time)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We're looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join a supportive and inclusive Secondary School environment on a part-time, permanent basis in Rugby.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with SEN

Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to support student development

Assist in delivering adapted lessons and managing behaviour

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for education and supporting learners with additional needs

Ideal for:

Individuals with classroom support experience

Aspiring teachers or SEN specialists looking to gain valuable experience
