Permanent Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Aylesbury

30 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Primary Special Needs School

Term Time Only contract (work 39 weeks of year)

• Application process involves application form, school visit/ trial and interview

The Permanent SEND Teaching Assistant Role Will Involve

• Supporting students to access and engage with teacher-led curriculum and learning activities
• Assisting with the implementation of individual education and behaviour plans.
• Supporting with emotional regulation and pastoral needs, as well as educational
• Assisting with personal care, attending to hygiene needs, and administering medication as required.
• Encouraging independence and promoting self-esteem among students.
