Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a cook for Crynallt Infant Primary School to prepare meals for children, handling both large and small meal quantities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will work term-time, 25 hours per week, in a school kitchen. Applicants should hold City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 or NVQ catering and a Level 3 Food Safety in Catering; safeguarding checks and DBS enhanced disclosure apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of large-quantity cooking for children.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Awareness of safeguarding and DBS requirements.
