Job summary

Aramark UK are currently recruiting two Catering Assistants to join the team at St Thomas Catholic High School – CW2 8AE. This is a permanent, part-time role offering 16 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks) and progression opportunities.

You will serve food and beverages, assist with basic cold food prep, handle payments, maintain hygiene standards, restock displays and support the team. Training and apprenticeship pathways are provided to help you grow within Aramark.

Qualifications

• Food safety and hygiene knowledge is essential.
• Teamwork and clear communication with colleagues is required.
• Flexibility and reliability to cover shifts as needed.
• Good physical stamina and organisational skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following brand standards and answer questions about products.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services.
• Take payment and keep financial records as required.
• Restock goods and ensure displays are tidy and attractive.
• Maintain clean back-of-house areas, crockery and equipment.
• Report feedback or hazards to line manager.
