Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Barnet, North London

Location: Barnet, North London

Practice Type: This is a progressive veterinary group with over 30 practices across London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridge, including four 24-hour hospitals. The group is dedicated to providing exceptional primary care and supporting staff development at all levels. The Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a well-established veterinary practice located in North London.

Duties: This position offers the chance to work alongside an experienced Head Vet, who has been with the practice for over 20 years, and a dedicated support team, including a Patient Care Assistant and Client Care Assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with procedures and surgical support
  • Monitor patients under anaesthesia and provide peri-operative care
  • Maintain stock management and equipment maintenance
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship for the Patient Care Assistant
  • Support diary management to ensure smooth practice operations
  • With only 5% administrative duties, the role is primarily clinical, allowing the RVN to focus on patient care.
