Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering seeks a Regional QC Lead for Ireland and the UK to oversee quality control across multiple project sites, ensuring construction, mechanical, electrical and commissioning works meet client specifications and standards.

The role requires leading QC teams, harmonising procedures, and driving continuous improvement while coordinating with Regional Directors and Quality/Engineering functions. Travel across Ireland and the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Quality Control/QA for construction, data centres, MEP or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of QC procedures, ITPs and QA/QC standards.
• Experience leading multi-site or multi-country teams.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC across multiple project sites in Ireland and the UK, ensuring high-quality, compliant works.
• Harmonise QC procedures, develop regional guidance, templates, and playbooks.
• Oversee Inspections & Test Plans, Method Statements, QA checklists, and audits.
• Drive NCR/defect resolution and continuous improvement in QC processes.
• Present QC updates to senior leadership and support audits.
