Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions LTD. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for the PM shift in Aylesbury. The role involves TIG welding and fabrication from engineering drawings, with strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will manage production records and support continuous improvement initiatives in a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of welding experience, TIG proficiency, and a keen eye for detail, able to work under pressure while

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• TIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding and fabrication within a manufacturing environment.
• Work from engineering drawings, primarily Third Angle Projection.
• Carry out production work to required quality and specification.
• Participate in quality control and identify any defective work.
• Carrying out MPI and Dye Pen inspections where required.
• Booking jobs and recording information using the company MRP system.
• Maintaining welder qualification records and documentation.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Support continuous improvement and waste reduction activities.
