Branch Overview

The Bonnyrigg branch dispenses approximately 5000 items per month and is a relatively quiet branch. Our pharmacy utilizes Medipac robotic distribution technology, freeing up your time to provide the care our patients deserve. Over-the-counter sales are around £4,500 per month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense Prescription Medications: Accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
  • Patient Support: Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
  • Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
  • Medication Management: Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
  • Immunization Services: Provide immunization services where applicable
  • OTC Advice: Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
  • Health Promotion: Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
What We Require
  • Registered Pharmacist: Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
