Robertson Recruitment Services Ltd in Mansfield seeks an experienced Night Shift CNC Laser Team Leader to supervise the laser department and drive output. You will set and monitor CNC laser-cutting machinery, read drawings, and ensure quality and safety targets are met.

You’ll lead a nights team on a 4-on 4-off rota, with progression and a stable, professional environment and modern manufacturing equipment. Competitive salary based on experience and long-term development are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC laser-cutting machines.
• Team-leading, supervisory or senior operator experience.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
• Able to organise workloads and make effective decisions during a busy shift.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support CNC laser operators throughout the night shift.
• Set, operate and monitor CNC laser-cutting machinery.
• Allocate workloads and organise shift priorities to meet production schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Ensure all components are manufactured accurately and to the required quality standards.
• Complete first-off inspections and routine quality checks.
• Ensure accurate completion of production paperwork and shift handovers.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
