About Our Client

My client is a renowned and established organisation based in Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working.

Job Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports
• Work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure financial transparency
• Maintain and manage budgeting processes
• Production of balance sheet and review of all balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns, VAT annual adjustment reporting
• Contribute to financial strategy planning and execution
• Oversee 2 team members
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Experience in a similar Management Accountant role
• Strong understanding and experience of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, practical knowledge of Word and Outlook
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
