Job Description:

A permanent, live out, housekeeper is required Monday – Friday/Saturday for 3 hours per day (morning/afternoon to suit the candidate) for a busy high profile family of five in a large 5 bedroom household in Oxfordshire (near Wallingford/Didcot). Candidate must be local to the area and have a car to get there. This is a busy role and the housekeeper must have had previous experience in private households/used to working to hotel standards.

They are a busy family with young children and it is important the housekeeper is happy to work well in these environments. The housekeeper must also be dog friendly The standards are high - top hotel standard cleaning and tidying/organising is required. It is important that the housekeeper can use their own initiative and work on their own without much, if any, guidance and have a pro-active attitude and good attention to detail.

Jobs to include, but not limited to:

Ensuring the home is in good presentable order at all times, hoovering, dusting, cleaning loos and bathrooms, mopping etc and keeping all rooms in the house tidy/clean as well as laundry (including handwashing/care of delicate fabrics) and ironing of clothes and bedding. Wardrobe management. Internal window cleaning and polishing the wooden floors. Keeping the areas in the immediate vicinity of the house clean and tidy. Emptying bins. Ordering stock and supplies for the house. Reporting any maintenance issues. Opening the door to contractors for deliveries.

You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Employer may reasonably require.

This is a full time position, paid on a payroll with a contract. £20/h - 15-18 hours/week. It is essential the housekeeper is organised, reliable, flexible, discreet and professional.

The candidate must have an in date DBS check. References from previous roles essential.
