Job summary

N Family Club is seeking an Assistant Educator for its Blackheath, London nursery. You will support a team delivering the N Curriculum through play, helping children to dream big and explore confidently.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a strong focus on child-centred learning and safety practices. You'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, learn from seasoned educators, and access induction and ongoing training opportunities including Paediatric First Aid and

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, but passion for education is essential.
• Be open to completing induction and training including Paediatric First Aid.
• Willing to gain Level 2/3 Early Years qualification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the learning through play ethos and N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow the daily routine and manage transitions between meals, naps and play.
• Assist planning of engaging learning experiences to support development.
• Support high-quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Help supervise mealtimes in line with safety policies.
• Complete health and safety checks and escalate concerns as needed.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Embed policies and procedures in daily practice.
• Keep all areas clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks to keep the nursery running smoothly.

As an Assistant Educator at N Family, you’ll support your team in creating an inspirational environment that delivers the best care and education – guiding every child to dream big, think independently, and explore the world with confidence. Your key responsibilities

• Deliver our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.

• Help with day-to-day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly.
