We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in South Belfast.

This role offers a 35-hour contract with excellent induction and training. The organisation values progression and success within supported living services, focusing on choice, inclusion, and opportunity to improve the quality of life for individuals with diverse disabilities.

Hourly Rate: £12.60 with enhanced overtime rates.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing personal care, assistance with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Supporting meal preparation and nutritional needs.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support.
  • Administering first aid and assisting with medication management under supervision.
  • Engaging clients in activities to stimulate cognitive function, especially for dementia care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborating on individualised care plans.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience in care/support or personal caring responsibilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, along with numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • 3-week rolling rota with 1 weekend off in 3.
  • Flexibility to meet role and rota requirements.
