Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Chelmsford

Type : Equine

Practice Type : Part of a group

Facilities: Their main clinic as well as branch practice will provide you with a full range of equipment (digital x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy and gastroscopy, laser therapy/surgery, arthroscopy, gait analysis, specialised endodontic procedures etc.), including surgical facilities, examination rooms, stables and isolation facilities.

Role : A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join an established, well-respected 8 vet practice situated in the Essex countryside, close to London

  • They are is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic vet to join their international, dynamic and sociable team on a permanent and long-term basis.
  • They offer a supportive and friendly environment in which you will be given the opportunity to establish yourself as a key team member.
  • They service a wide range of clients from leisure horse owners to international competition yards therefore you will be assured of a diverse and interesting caseload where continuity is highly regarded and encouraged.

Hours : This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 weeknight and 1:4 weekends on call, (1 day in lieu following a weekend on call).

  • The ideal candidate will have proven ambulatory experience, come with a specialised interest and be eager to develop their client base.
  • You should be confident and happy to work alone on the road and be able to quickly build a rapport with clients.
  • The candidate must have proven ambulatory experience (2+ years)
  • Comprehensive CPD including studying for a certificate will be strongly encouraged alongside an attractive remuneration package.

Salary : The salary on offer is commensurate with experience. Plus possible relocation allowance.
