Doctor Job Description

• Speciality -Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist
• Location -South East England
• Pay Rate - £105,000 to £139,000 per annum
• We are recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry to support patients in a high-performing mental health service in South East England. This role focuses on acute care with continuity into the community.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assessment, risk management, and treatment planning.
• Act as RC for detained patients and lead CPA reviews.
• Take a lead role in service governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise junior doctors and allied health professionals.

CESR support available for international candidates.

• Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can help with this)
• DBS/Police Check
• Full Registration with the General Medical Council
• MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
• Approved under section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983

Permanent applicants must be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview.
