Job summary

10 recruitment is seeking a skilled Machine Operative with CNC, woodworking, or similar experience to join a leading manufacturing facility in Normanton. The role offers a fixed afternoon shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) and a permanent opportunity with a well-established team.

You will set up and operate production machinery, load materials, monitor the process, perform quality checks and ensure products meet required specifications while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production machinery in manufacturing.
• CNC or woodworking machine experience is highly relevant.
• Good mechanical awareness and confidence around machinery.
• Ability to follow production specifications and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Immediate starts available.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating production machinery.
• Loading materials into machines.
• Monitoring machinery during production process.
• Carrying out quality checks and measurements.
• Identifying and reporting machine faults or quality issues.
• Keeping machinery and work areas clean, safe and organised.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
