Working Hours:

• Full-time vets work a 4-day week (36 hours).
• Participate in a 1 in 10-12 out-of-hours rota, with weekday evenings on inpatient duty (no client calls) and weekends from 8:30 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 12 pm on Sunday. Fridays are off after a weekend on call.
• Current clinical directors typically have 1 day per week of admin time, which is flexible depending on your needs or preference for more clinical work.

Support and Development:

Certificates are supported for those wishing to specialize further, with current holders in Ophthalmology and Emergency & Critical Care.

• Generous £1,750 CPD allowance plus 4 days; higher allowances will be considered.
