Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to support learning across KS3 and KS4 during short-term absences. The role is permanent, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

You will deliver pre-planned work, manage student behaviour in line with the school's policy, and contribute to a safe, positive learning environment. The appointment is subject to safeguarding checks and Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting classes across KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned set work to students.
• Experience with safeguarding and behaviour management policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during short-term absences of the class teacher.
• Support learning across KS3/KS4 and maintain order in the classroom.
• Follow the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding procedures.
