Job summary

Lineage Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 2 driver to support transport operations with multi-drop deliveries and strict vehicle compliance. You will work with the Transport Manager to ensure smooth, efficient operations and safe driving practices across routes including London.

The role requires a valid Class 2 license, Digi-Tacho, Driver CPC, and strong communications. This is a permanent position with weekly pay and overtime after 39 hours, plus benefits such as parking and

Qualifications

• At least 12 months Class 2 driving experience and a valid Class 2 license.
• Full valid Driving Licence, Digi-Tacho, DQC card, and Driver CPC.
• Good driving knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Manager to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles are legal and roadworthy; report any defects.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Operate tail lift and PPT for loading/unloading.
• Drive safely in accordance with tachograph law and driver hour limits.
• Verify correct goods loaded and obtain customer signatures.
• Monitor vehicle inspection rota for servicing and MOT.
• Maintain DCPC periodic training hours within five years.
