Job summary

Ceredigion County Council is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the mobile catering team in and around Ceredigion on a permanent basis. You will manage school kitchens day-to-day, upholding council standards.

The role requires experience in catering, a commitment to food safety and environmental health standards, and willingness to work across the Ceredigion North area. Enhanced DBS may be required depending on the position.

Qualifications

• Experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment.

Responsibilities

• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times.
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.
