Holt Automotive Recruitment is partnering with a well-established bodyshop in Trafford Park to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer for a permanent role. The position offers £20 per hour plus an individual bonus scheme and the opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment.

The successful candidate will prepare vehicles, mix paints to match colours, spray and finish to a high standard, while maintaining safety and organisation in the workshop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop or accident repair centre.
• Strong preparation, paint-mixing and spraying skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• A reliable, motivated and professional approach to work.
• A consistent employment history within the automotive repair industry would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles and panels for painting, including filling, sanding and priming.
• Mixing and matching paint to achieve an accurate colour match.
• Spray painting vehicles and panels to a consistently high standard.
• Polishing and finishing paintwork to achieve a quality finish.
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying any additional repair or preparation requirements.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure all work meets the required standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
