Full time Lead Nurse urgently required for a Practice / Somerset

Dream Medical is working with a respected Practice in Somerset who urgently require full time Lead Nurse.

An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Nurse to join a busy Practice based across two sites with a combined patient size of just over 11,000. The ideal candidate will manage the nursing team which comprises of Practice Nurses, a HCA and a Phlebotomist. You will provide support and mentor members of the team. You will be responsible for auditing, clinical governance and infection prevention and control. You will take the lead on treatment of patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes and assist the partner leading on training across the Practice. You will have experience of working in a similar role, be able to provide evidence of experience in team supervision, governance, audit and quality assurance. You will have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as strong organisational skills.

This role is full time, salary is dependent on experience. A full range of benefits are on offer including NHS pension.
