Job Details

• Position: Leading the Capital Finance Business Partnering team, managing 3-4 employees.
• Responsibilities include developing business cases for large-scale capital projects, financial modelling, budget setting, and acting as a strategic financial advisor.
• Supporting contract management and negotiations, and driving efficiency and value for money.
• Location: 222 Upper Street, London Borough of Islington
• Start Date: Immediate
• Salary Range: £62,457 - £70,401

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working model with a mandatory one day per week in the office. Flexibility for those living far away to do two days every fortnight.

Qualifications

• Full member of CCAB (preferably CIPFA), CFA, or ACT with significant post-qualification experience.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD).

Experience

• Strategic management experience in a large public sector organization, preferably local government.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, business case preparation, resource management, and working under tight deadlines.
