A leading council in the UK is seeking a Support Assistant for its Peripatetic Service. This role involves providing essential community care to promote independence among service users. Our Peripatetic Service is seeking to appoint 1 Support Assistant working 21.00 hours per week in Sherwood Court. This essential service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, providing high-quality community care.
The successful candidate will work a 4-week rolling rota including AM shifts 07:00-14:00 and PM shifts 16:00-23:00. The position includes weekends and bank holidays.
This post is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requiring demonstration of a proficient level of fluency as detailed in the job specification.
To enable service users to remain in their own homes by promoting independence and delivering quality care. To ensure individuals are treated with dignity and respect, working alongside other professionals and agencies in a person-centred way, following national guidelines and standards. This role offers invaluable skills in delivering person-centred care.
If you lack the essential qualifications, don't worry! You will receive a comprehensive induction, full training, and funding for qualifications upon successful probation.
Salary ranges from £24,790 to £25,183 (FTE), with enhancements for weekend and bank holiday work, plus overtime opportunities. Benefits include:
