Job Title: Peripatetic Senior Social Worker

Location: Cardiff

Rate: £41.58 per hour

Liquid Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Peripatetic Senior Social Worker to join Cardiff County Council. This role supports the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Team and aims to enhance Practice Improvement within the Intake and Assessment team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality social work services to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Supporting the UASC Team with effective, tailored services.
  • Contributing to practice improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support.
  • Collaborating with professionals and agencies for multidisciplinary approaches.
  • Maintaining accurate records per statutory requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training.
