Job Description:

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a Peripatetic Nurse Manager to cover 14 care homes in London, Kent, and the South West in the absence of the manager. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This provider is a well-respected not-for-profit organization, focusing on high-quality care and sustainable, thriving homes.

Requirements: To be considered, you must hold an active NMC Pin and an NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting 2 divisions and maintaining regional contact for each care home
  • Conducting routine head office visits across care homes as directed by Divisional Directors
  • Ensuring a stimulated and caring environment
  • Overseeing medication administration in line with company policies
  • Ensuring staff training and development needs are met
  • Supporting the Home Manager with staff meetings and communication
  • Delegating duties and supporting staff members

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience working with a large multi-site care provider as a high-level manager
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulatory frameworks relevant to elder care
  • Willingness to travel and work various shifts, including weekends

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £67,900 per annum, along with benefits such as free DBS, learning and development opportunities, pension scheme, death in service benefit, health benefits, awards, lifestyle benefits, and employee assistance programs.
