Oldham Music Service aims to appoint a highly motivated woodwind teacher capable of teaching double reed, flute, and clarinet in schools across Oldham. The successful candidate will join a skilled team of woodwind educators serving the Oldham community.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver instrumental and/or curriculum music tuition in Local Authority schools
  • Monitor, record, and report pupils’ progress clearly and professionally according to Music Service standards
  • Conduct, administer, or assist with relevant Music Centre groups during rehearsals and concerts
  • Assist with school groups as appropriate
  • Participate in concerts and festival performances as required
  • Promote the work of the Music Service and Oldham Music Centre positively to schools, parents, and teachers
