About the role

We are looking to recruit a Peripatetic Cook to join our Catering team in and around the North Ceredigion area on a permanent basis. You will manage the school kitchen daily according to standards set by Ceredigion County Council.

The role includes:

  • General kitchen duties including washing equipment and cleaning all areas
  • Preparing and serving meals to residents and pupils
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Environmental Health standards

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Perform general kitchen duties
  • Set up and clear tables as needed
  • Record food temperatures at service
  • Follow Food Safety, Environmental Health, and EEC manual handling standards
  • Ensure health and safety in the kitchen

  • Experience or knowledge of catering environments
