Salary: Starting at £13,400.72 (Level one), increasing yearly to £13,609.29 (Level two) and £13,828.29 (Level three)

Location: Loxley House Main Office, working across various school sites within the city.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of our School Cleaning Team, responsible for supervising cleaning staff, ensuring they have necessary materials, and maintaining high standards. Responsibilities include monitoring standards, providing training and support, managing attendance, and organizing cover.

You will also handle stock management, communicate with on-site staff, and work closely with FM Team Leaders. The role requires a full clean driving license, business use car insurance, and access to your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at £0.45 per mile.

Working hours may include mornings (06:00–10:00) and evenings (3:00–7:00), varying based on needs. Full training will be provided.

Main duties include:

  • Ensuring high standards and exceptional service delivery
  • Monitoring absence and punctuality
  • Providing induction and refresher training for staff
  • Cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning touch points, toilets, and waste bins
  • Replenishing consumables
  • Using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and rotary machines
  • Performing high and low dusting
