Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values-based community focused on the learning of all students and staff, caring deeply for our young people and each other, and committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our goal is to be a +1 school for progress, and we are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and well-qualified Peripatetic Piano teacher and leader to join us in our mission.

As a music specialist school:

  • 10% of students gain entrance through a music aptitude test
  • All Year 7 students are offered a free instrument and discounted lessons
  • All Year 7 and 8 students participate in a weekly choir
  • Key Stage 3 students receive 2 weekly 50-minute lessons
  • A third of students have instrumental or vocal lessons
  • Full support from the leadership and trust prioritising music

Applicants should hold a teaching diploma, Conservatoire/University performance degree, or have a proven track record of excellence.

This is a self-employed position, approximately 2 hours per week at £39 per hour. There is potential for expansion as the Cathedral Schools Trust grows. We are open to discussing teaching a second instrument or theory, though it is not essential.
