Spire Harpenden Hospital is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our established, high performing theatre team and perform scrub duties covering general surgery and urology.

Duties and responsibilities:
  1. General scrub duties covering multiple specialties including Urology.
  2. Support in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs.
  3. Actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect, collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
  4. Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, security, and infection control, and lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices.
Who we're looking for:
  • Operating Department Practitioner or RN with Scrub Experience.
  • ODP or RN qualification.
  • HCPC or NMC registration.
  • General Scrub experience is essential.
  • Urology Scrub experience is essential.
  • Surgical First Assistant - Desirable.
  • Experience of working in teams and with minimal supervision.
