Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate to join the newly established Planned Surgical Unit at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The post supports admission and discharge planning under supervision, contributing to a safe, patient-centred peri-operative pathway.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (A-C) required.
• Evidence of CPD participation or commitment.
• Experience in public/customer care is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital team.

Responsabilités

• Admit and discharge patients as per care plan and under supervision.
• Support the peri-operative journey across the planned surgical unit.
• Work with the RN and CSW to maintain patient flow through theatres.
• Deliver high quality, patient-centred, compassionate care.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and the care team.
