Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with a post-basic anaesthetic qualification to join our perioperative teams. You will be involved in all aspects of operating department care across our major trauma and surgical services.

The role requires flexible working arrangements, with full-time or part-time hours and strong emphasis on education and wellbeing support from our Perioperative Education Team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with anaesthetic qualification.
• Current registration with the appropriate regulatory body (NMC or equivalent).
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary perioperative team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of clinical operating department work and provide high standard patient care and safety.
• Deputise for the Team Leader when required or when experience allows.
• Contribute to assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes within a flexible team.
